3 GENERAL MATERIALS AND METHODS 3.1 HOME COMPOSTING TRIAL 3.1.1 Preparation and rationale The Home Composting Study Area (Section 2.3) was based on 3 refuse collection rounds in the Chertsey, Thorpe and Hythe areas (Figure 2.4).
