For any meal, simply tap on the blue ‘+’ (plus) icon and choose one of the following ways to add your foods: 1. Direct search: Search our database of over 500,000 foods. 2. Barcode scan: For packaged foods, simply scan the barcode on the label and the nutritional information will be automatically entered. 3. Manual entry: For any packaged food not in our database, use this option to manually enter nutrition facts from the label. 4. Quick picks: Quickly choose from our list of dietitian-selected food items (including top foods for particular nutrients). 5. Favorites: As you choose foods over time, they are automatically stored in your ‘favorites’, which you can conveniently sort in different ways. 6. Recipes: You can enter any combination of ingredients (+ cooking methods and notes) to create a ‘recipe’ and save it for future reference. 7. Copy from yesterday: An easy option to quickly copy your meals from the previous day.
